Classic Red Lip Look with a Twist!

Ive been playing around with some different looks as usual… And I wanted to put a little twist to the “classic” red lip look! So instead of all red, I added some dark pink in with the red and some frost to the pout! What do you think?
Products used:
Lips- Lined with NYX “Red” lip liner, blended with MAC “Moxie” (bright pink color) lipstick , then added MAC “Warm Companion” (Nude frosted color) lipstick to the pout.
Eyes- BH Cosmetics 120 Color Palette 2nd Edition, Mary Kay Liquid Eyeliner, Mary Kay Lash Love Mascara.

Eyebrow Tutorial for Beginners

As you may know I have been working on getting my YouTube channel going with some video tutorials! This evening I posted my 2nd tutorial which focuses on the brows! Hope you enjoy and find it useful!
Brow Tutorial for Beginners
1) Outline the bottom of brow with eyebrow pencil. 2) Outline the top of brow with eyebrow pencil. 3) Using an angled brush, fill in brow with brown eyeshadow. 4) Using a concealer brush, clean the edges with a little bit of concealer. Outline the bottom and top of brow. Blend in the concealer.

Eyebrows: Mary Kay Brow Definer Pencil in “Soft Black”. Mary Kay concealer in “Bronze 1″.
Eyes: Lid- Mary Kay Mineral Eye Color in “Chocolate Kiss”. Crease- Mineral Eye Color in “Almond”. Highlight- Mineral Eye Color in “Gold Coast”. Eyeliner- Mineral Eye Color in “Coal”. Lashes- Mary Kay Lash Love Mascara in “Black”
Face: Mary Kay Concealer in “Bronze 1”. Medium coverage foundation in “Bronze 500″. Mineral powder foundation in “Bronze 1″. Mineral cheek color in “Sparkling Cider”.
Lips: Mary Kay lip liner in “Neutral” all over lips. Cream lipstick in “Hibiscus” blotted after application. Nourishine plus lip gloss in “Berry Tart”.

Face: Mary Kay medium coverage foundation in “Bronze 500”. Mineral powder foundation in “Bronze 1”. Mineral cheek color in “Sparkling Cider”.
Lips: Mary Kay lip liner in “Neutral”. Cream lipstick in “Frosted Rose”. Nourishine plus lip gloss in “Berry Tart”.

Makeup Looks: PLUM-it!

Last night I posted this look onto my Instgram pages and received a lot of positive feedback, Thank you! 🙂
Now, I just wanted to take the time and share with you all how I created the above look…
1. Eyebrows: Mary Kay Brow definer pencil (shape brow), Mary Kay Eyeshadow “Espresso” (brow filler), Mary Kay Brow Gel (finish), Mary Kay Concealer “Bronze 1”.
2. Eyes: Primer- Mary Kay. Lid- Mary Kay Cream Eyeshadow “Beach Blonde”, BH Cosmetics 120 Color palette 2nd Edition (light shimmer color over the cream shadow. Upper crease- Mary Kay Mineral Eyeshadow “Almond”. Crease- Mary Kay Mineral Eyeshadow “Truffle”. Outter corner- BH Cosmetics 120 Color palette 2nd Edition (dark brown color). Inner corner- BH Cosmetics 120 Color Palete 2nd Edition (light shimmer color). Highlight- Mary Kay Mineral Eyeshadow “Moonstone”, then Estee Lauder “Ginger Drop” over it. Liner- Maybelline “Master Precise liquid eyeliner” winged out on eye lid, Mary Kay Mineral Eyeshadow “Coal” lined with smudge brush along lower lash line. Mascara- Mary Kay “Lash Love” in black.
*Used a large eyeshadow brush to blend highlight color down and into the corner of eye.
3. Face: Primer- Mary Kay foundation primer. Concealer- Mary Kay concealer in Bronze 1. Foundation- Mary Kay Medium-Coverage foundation in 500. Powder- Mary Kay Mineral Powder Foundation in Bronze 1.
4. Lips: Primer- Mary Kay Time Wise age fighting lip primer. Liner- Mary Kay Lip Liner in “Plum”. Lipstick- Red/Orange lipstick (I used a drug store brand called Black Radiance… any Red/Orange color will do.)
*Lined lips with liner, filled in lips a little with the liner. Applied the lipstick, blended. Re-lined lips with the liner over the lipstick. Creates the Ombre effect!
5. Cheeks: M.A.C “Gleeful” Mineralize Blush
